The success of Matchflame.co.uk is down to getting people together who originally met by chance.

Ahmed and Jenny: Leicester

I first saw Ahmed when I was out clubbing with all my girlfriends. We were out on my best friend's hen night and the drinks were flowing. This guy came across and started talking to me, a few minutes later I was dragged away from him as our group was on to the next club. I only knew his first name but I wanted to get in touch with him. We were back in the same club the next week but Ahmed wasn’t there. That is when I thought I would give Match Flame a go, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I put our encounter on Match Flame and a few days later there was a message from Ahmed in my email.

He said he was only down on business for that night and that is why I hadn’t seen him around. He gave me his contact details and even though he lives over 50 miles away I thought I would make the effort and go and see him.

We have never looked back. It is great, we are hoping to do something about being closer together but for now just the fact that we can see each other every weekend is great.
